Changes to NHCOLL-L
June 04, 2012
I am writing to let you know of some changes to our discussion list, NHCOLL-L, provided as a service to the collections community by the Society for the Preservation of Natural History Collections.
NHCOLL-L was recently switched to Mailman software, allowing us to manage our subscriptions via the web and to access archives of past conversations. If you are already subscribed, you will have received an email welcoming you to the “new” NHCOLL-L.
Membership in SPNHC gives you access to a lively, active, and interdisciplinary global community of professionals dedicated to the care of natural history collections. SPNHC’s membership is drawn from more than 20 countries and includes museum specialists such as curators, collections managers, conservators, preparators, and database administrators. NHCOLL-L is one of our best tools for interacting with our peers.
If you have not yet subscribed to NHCOLL-L information can be found by visiting our website at http://spnhc.org and following the Resources tab to Web Resources, or use the new NHCOLL-L info page at http://mailman.yale.edu/mailman/listinfo/nhcoll-l
I encourage all SPNHC members to engage in the discussions!
PS: While you’re at http://spnhc.org please check the Membership Directory to be sure your contact data is up-to-date. Thanks!
